WHAT IS FREEDOM?

What is freedom, indeed? It’s a question that has, over time, generated a myriad discussions.

For me, however, I see freedom as a detachment from bondage. A breaking away from something that binds, from something that suppresses, from something that inhibits the capacity to think, to move on, to express. Freedom is an attempt, feebly or otherwise, to be let go from.

Freedom has always been sought after by those who have been tied to something against their will or desire. It can only be attained by breaking lose. The ultimate freedom means the achievement of being able to do as you wish without reprisal or inhibition. It should culminate to being able to perform something in a way that no apprehension, or fear, is involved.
